The bluprnts assistant answers questions about your forecast and builds your model for you — proposing every change for confirmation before anything is written.
The assistant is an in-app helper that can both answer questions about your forecast and make changes to your model for you. Describe your business in plain language and it proposes the products, sales, people, costs and financing to match — then waits for you to confirm before writing anything.
Open it with the ✦ Assistant button that floats in the bottom corner of every page in the app.
What the panel holds#

Nothing happens without your say-so#
This is the design principle worth knowing. When the assistant decides something in your model should change, it doesn't change it — it shows you a card:

Each proposed change is listed with what it does and the values it would set. Confirm applies the batch; Discard throws it away. Every change it applies then appears in the Changes panel, where you can expand it to see the detail and Undo it individually, or Undo all at once.
What it can do#
- Answer questions about the forecast — what runway is, why a figure moved, what the statements are showing.
- Build and edit your model — products, sales, employees, costs, financing and projects, plus your company settings.
It works on your own company, through the same authorised endpoints the rest of the app uses. It cannot reach anyone else's data, and it has exactly the permissions you do.

Getting good answers#
The assistant is most useful when you describe the business rather than the interface — "we sell a £24 bag of coffee, about 400 a month, and it costs us £9 to make" gets further than "add a product". It is building a driver-based model, so it wants drivers.
When something goes wrong#
Errors appear above the message box — "The assistant could not respond. Please try again." An undo that fails says so too. Neither leaves a partial change in your model: the confirm step is the only thing that writes.
